To make a rose out of copper you start by getting a copper pipe and cutting it into squares by slicing it down the middle and the hammering it flat. Then you cut out the shape of the leaves and petals then hammer some lines in to mimic the vanes of the leaves. This project was made hard because when i heated the copper so has to bend it into shape i put to much heat i and made it a little on the brittle side, the fun is in trying so at some stage i will try again and this time it will turn out better.
